Few days back when I went to a forum on the net, I saw a member posting .. asking for opinion for a new car between Subaru,Saab and Citroen.

And I saw a member wrote 'stay away from the citroens', I was wondering why? Is Citroen that bad?

again...... its purely ignorrant perception....

Ever since I chosen to drive a conti (Peugeot, not BMW), I have been getting sticks from all directions.

Though I also have reservations before the C4, I am still willing to give it a try anyway. I strongly feeld that changes (to the better) had been made to the directions of PSA and Citroen.

From the bold design and of cos being out from the same platform as the 307 increases my confidence in them.

its quite normal....

the stereotype comments by most s'poreans:

- difficult to get parts (i wonder which part they referring)
- ang mo car always overheat! (they still live in the eighties/early ninetis) :-&
- very expensive to maintain (cos' they dont know Thomas)

i think many pple hv bad experiences wif the hydroneumatic suspension, which is indeed not cheap to maintain.

my parents just took delivery of their C4 last month, and it's only done 2000 km, so possibly it's too early to form a definitive opinion on its reliability.

further, i only get to sit in the car once a week on Sundays, and i've only ever driven it twice (very difficult to pry the keys from my dad's hands - he loves the car, as you can expect :-) )

i feel that the C4 has a much better screwed-together feel than the pre-facelift C5 that i owned. i like the quality of the interior surfaces, generally. i also feel that the programming calibration of the gearbox algorithms are much more sorted in the C4 than in my C5 - i attribute this to the fact that the C4 is, of course, a newer car.

all in all, i love the C4 to bits. i only wish i could get to drive it more often :-P
