View Full Version : ERP IU Faulty

Hi guys,

Collected my car last weekend and this weekend, my IU stops working. Inserted 2 different cash cards but there's no sound and nothing came up on the IU screen. Seems like no power or could IU faulty. Will visit vicom on Monday to get it inspected. Does anyone have this problem before?

Just to update everyone on this issue. I've got it fix at Vicom at Kaki Bukit on last Monday. The took out the side panels and tape up the wiring. They test it and it's working but he's not too sure on how to fix back the side panel. So today brought it down to C&C for them to fix it. Test it again this morning and again the IU is not working again. Now waiting at service centre waiting for them to fix the IU issue.

Oh no.... what a hassle man! One of the least things you expect to be not working....

Well C&C service centre managed to diagnose it to be faulty IU but have to get it replace at LTA. So drive down all the way to Vicom at Sim Ming. They replaced the faulty IU but they can't fix back the panel properly as someone could have forced to fix the panel back and bend some part of the plastic panel. So went back to C&C to get it fix but was told to claim it from LTA. So I told C&C that the car is still unde warranty and just 2 weeks old. They then agree to order the parts for me but was not given any acknowledge slip or receipt or even an estimated date for the parts to come in. I took their words for it but at the same time I've informed the SE about the parts. Hopefully they will replace it as promise.

Hi bro,

From my veri little experience with them, they seems to stock up veri veri little parts and therefore will need to place order, it is very common that they parts will take 3 weeks or more to arrive.

If you have the time, i will strongly advice you to dial them on a regular interval (Say once a week) for a status update. Do look for the same service consultant so that if for whatever the reason the status he provide you is different in a way that does not make sense, it will be easier to highlight to him.
