Welcome.... great that the new and ex-owner 'knowing' each other
oliverlay, you have changed to C5? Sorry, I wasn't following...
Care to share how much the car has depreciated? 20% of car price? This is my understanding of the Select program.

Hi Ram Ram,
Yes, I just took delivery of my C5 end of may after close to 4 months of waiting. I lost about 10% of the value of my 1.5 yr old C4gp. It was not under any Select program but has the 3 yrs maintenance thingy. Trade in price was agreed when I booked the C5. If I had the guts to take a gamble and sell off my C4gp nearer to may, then perhaps I might have got an even higher trade in price. Guess my foresight isn't that good...

Adrian,
The head unit was not working well when I hand over the car to them. It cannot auto connect to my handphone via Bluetooth, USB port and the aux-in (dvd player) was not able to read by the head unit. See if they had rectified those issues. My window tint is 2 layers. The first layer by rikecool, the second layer by tint Inc. Therefore, it will surely fail inspection in 1.5 yrs time. So u decide if u want them to remove before collecting.
Other than that, the car is in good condition. I changed the headlights and the battery 2 weeks before handing over as well. One thing u might need to do is to rotate the tyres. I did it when the mileage was 15k km. So I think it's about time now.

10% is not that bad! Was also thinking of trading in for a C5, but SE told me to hang on for the DS4..keke.

given the car you are presently driving, waiting for the DS4 is a viable option for you - you would still get the visiospace windscreen.
you need to bear in mind, though, that the DS4 windows don't wind down (nor push out to open), and that the rear space would be less than your present car.
these factors may or may not be important to you, but it's good to know nonetheless :-)

thanks, Voyager. There's only a few reasons why i wanna swop my lovely picasso:
1) 200 BHP engine sounds sweet!
2) hopefully, lower running costs in terms of FC
3) better ride dynamics
Then again, the new Alfa guiletta is coming as well...so, plenty to think about in the near future.

Lol seems like existing GP drivers are getting tempted by the C5 and the upcoming models.....me too... Prob will ask to test drive the C5 exclusive when sending my car for my 20k servicing...... Change in family plans means, a sedan is possible.... Lol

hi flee19,
you might want to seek clarification with your sales-person whether the 200 bhp version (which would be a manual-gearbox) would be brought in to Singapore.
i personally haven't asked this question of them :-P
