C3 COE

Hi,

I booked my C3 1.4 with AA last month. I pegged my COE at $10K. 2nd bidg unsuccessful again. So far, I din receive any call watsoever from the car agent to ask me if i want to top up my COE bidg. Am v. disappointed with the car agent cos he did nothing to keep me in the loop. Have to call him all the time. When I called him, he wld say that he dont know anything cos bidg is under his admin side. Said he cant decide cos his boss is overseas. It was not until last Fri when I called him again that he told me that his boss just came back 1/2 an hr ago. Sd he'll call me if his boss wants to release the open cat COE to me bt his call never came. When 2nd bidg unsuccessful, i called him again. He told me that he did call me to ask me if I want to top up $2k for my last COE bidg. He's obviously lying cos I never did receive his call. In fact, all this while, I'm the 1 doing all the calling. I'm really pissed with this guy! >:(

Do u guys have problems with your COE biddgs too? 1st bidg, CatA went up to $11,200. Now it's up to $11,904 if I'm not wrong. I'm disappointed with the attitute of my sales agent. I am interested in buying the car but with this kind of irresponsible agent around, I just feel like giving up, wait for 4 bids and get back my deposit. What should I do? Will AA top up my COE or would they ask me to top up? After being treated badly by the irresponsible agent, I really dont feel like topping up at all. Now, he's telling me that if i want to get the car, I'll have to top up $3K plus for the open cat. I get the impression that AA is playing games with me. What r they trying to do? R they not interested in selling the car to me?

Can anybody tell me what I should do please?

i'm really sorry to read about your harrowing experience.

i can only imagine the disappointment and anger you must be feeling.

while i do not have any concrete advice to help you, i would just like to say that the two cars i bought from AA, under two different sales personnel, did not present me with such problems. everything went very smoothly, that's why my family decided to buy the second Citroën.

hopefully the other members here can help. i really hope so.

in the meantime, i can't advise you whether or not to give up on your present order. it will be sad, of course, to lose a potential Citroën-kaki. however, most important is your peace of mind.

while Citroën-ownership will not be entirely trouble-free, i hope that the good times outweigh the bad. in my experience with the two units i've owned, it has most certainly been the case.
