it is the time of the year that marks the anniversary of my C5 Confort.

Broker contacted me, cheapest is Royal & Sun Alliance.
$951 (50% NCD) excess $500 with the below terms:
▪ Authorised workshop - Waiver of Excess for 30% - 50% NCD (For first 2 claims only)
▪ Authorised workshop - Excess Halved for 0% - 20% NCD (For first 2 claims only)
▪ Authorised workshop - 9 months warranty on repairs
▪ Authorised workshop - Windscreen coverage - Unlimited Coverage (Subject to Excess of $100 + GST)
▪ Courtesy car for 1 week - Subject to additonal premium of $107 (Inclusive of GST)
▪ NCD Protector - Subject to additional premium (50% NCD Only)
▪ 6 / 12 months instalments plan with DBS/POSB/UOB credit card
▪ Payment by cheque or Master / Visa credit card

I always ask for preferred workshop eg cnc. Perhaps I'm kiasu. Got my renewal for my c4gp frm chartis 2458. Was involved in a chain collision that's still being investigated.

The C5 is built like a tank. If the accident result a damage on the engine, then can write off the car. The rest of mainly cosmetic, almost any workshop can do.

Chartis quote me $1100 on renewal, that's abt 15% down from new policy.

I think quite ok deal. me also 50% NCD but never got below $1000.
