Haiz... wat a bad day... in the morning met with a taxi who cut in w/o signalling... tot I was lucky to avoid him... but in the afternoon when going out for lunch with my wife, got hit from behind by a Suzuki Vitara on a slip road... damage to my baby estimated by AA to be $3~4K. Claiming the other party.

So bros, be careful on slip roads.

i am sorry to learn this news.

i'm sure we all are.

it's a relief, though, that you and your wife are unharmed. do check if you have whiplash.

Oh dear... :'(

Well, its passed, just get it repaired and your baby will be as good as new!

Do try to get the insurance to pay, rather than you pay first then claim later as it takes quite some time that way (especially with certain companies). This can be done right guys?

Ya, watch for the whiplash... go see doctor if need to.

Heart pains when your beloved Car kena bang.
Years ago 2 lorries reversed from 2 parking lots, the drivers rushing off after buying 4D. and the 1st lorry smash into my Citroen XM when I was going straight. (Watch out in 4D outlets areas where they will double park, stops everywhere, anywhere, rush in to buy 4D or TOTO and rush off.
A few accidents happen along the same stretch of road every weekends.
The 1st lorry back into my car 1st and the 2nd lorry back into the 1st lorry. Both the 1st lorry and myself agreed to exchanged particulars and the 2nd lorry driver say his damage was only a broken rear light and he will get the 1st lorry driver to pay him $200 to buy a replacement.
Both the 1st lorry driver and myself went to IDAC and recorded our particulars. My Insurance co. got the 1st lorry driver's insurance co. to pay up and both of us thought everything was settled.
1 month later, the 1st lorry driver called and say that the 2nd lorry driver has engaged a lawyer to claim almost $5000 from him and ask whether I can be his witness.
2 days later I also recieve a similar letter from the 2nd lorry driver's lawyer claiming for the same amount.???
Pissed off, I wrote to my Insurance company on the events and what had transpired with copy to the 1st lorry driver.
Nothing happened after that.
So make sure that all details and particulars are kept as there are lawyers out there doing this sort of claims and intimidations.
Imagine if he succeed, he will collecting $10,000.00???
Luckily I drove a Citroen XM, the injury to the car was quite serious but I did'nt felt a thing until I got out of the car and saw the damage!
You can see all the innards of the door with steel protection.
IDAC inspector says if other car, sure finsihed!!!
Take care.
