hallo :-)
'Macworld' magazine (US edition) recently ran a comprehensive comparison test of thirty iPod FM transmitters.

upon their recommendation, i bought the unit they rated most highly (from the apple centre at wheelock (now known as epicentre@orchard)).
it works like the review says, and the sound quality is better than my previous FM transmitter - the PodFreq (also reviewed in that same article).
better yet, the model i bought - the DLO TransPod micro - is more future-proof than the clunky-looking PodFreq, which is tailored to suit specific iPod form-factors. the TransPod micro just uses a dock connector, and no cradle.
