Modification on Citroen

Could anyone out there advise me on what modification you have done to your citroen or can be done to all citroen cars to increase the torque/bhp? 8) 8) 8)

Nothing much for torque/bhp... but for responsiveness, there's always sprintbooster! :-X
I can't live without it now... ::)

I've heard Eurohaus may have ECU flashing available for C5, that should give additional torque/bhp. But probably not cheap, and my worry is what will it do to our sensitive BSI system.

And I'm still waiting for my performance air-filter, if it ever comes... More than 2 months now... walk from Italy also reach already! :-\

torque and horses cannot be changed
its fixed by ur engine
u can improve it (regain back loss) by

1) free flow closed pod air filter, eg bmc cda
2) free flow sports muffler
3) free flow cat (unless u really love lta/rov)
4) lightweight rims

anyway, the C4 is such a beauty. No need too much exterior mod also.

if u want c4 size and want mod, get a suzuki swift 1.5m
heard someone lup a turbo inside and crank the CR from 8.5 to abt 9+, get 170 horses
cost 3.5k to lup turbo only, everything include

Else wait for the 3 door C4 if C&C bring in... that one can mod till your heart's content... become WRC!

The LCD screen at the new Customer Reception has been showing Citroen WRC footage.

Finally they get it right by capitalising on Loeb's WRC wins as advertising. That's what Peugeot & Subaru have been "selling".

Agreed that the C4 is already a beauty, but was thinking to put more torque along the way so that will not be tired of the car too soon mah :-\

Can also consider doing sharp turns at 60km/h once in a while to maintain awe/love with C4 - no need to mod for this one. ;D

'*' represents snow mode, which I understand is to try to limit wheelspin, e.g. when pulling away in icy conditions. Guys, pls correct me if I'm wrong.

the * button is the winter / snow mode, as you say :-) it limits wheelspin by not starting the car in the lowest (first) gear when pulling off from stationary, i believe.

as for the specficiation differences for the 3-door C4, it's hard to say because they might not stick strictly to the trim levels as found in the UK or France. might be higher, say, in terms of xenons and front and rear original parking sensors. _might_, only, hor :-) we have to wait and see to be sure :-)

This happened at the Singapore Woodlands checkpoint about 3 hrs back.

Policeman #1 opening my C4's boot for inspection: "This is a Citroen, good car."
Policeman #2: "Wah, new one as well."
I smiled back at #1, closed the boot, and walked back.

Policeman #3 opened the front passenger door while I was buckling up. My uncle, who was in the front passenger seat, thought he wanted to inpect the interior, and opened the glove compartment for him.

Policeman #3: "...it's ok, actually, just wanted to see how interior of the car looks like.."
Unidentified policeman voice added: "Interior is all electronic..."

i agree with you too.

actually, back in the '70s and '80s, Citroëns did not have such a super-low profile in Singapore - the sales numbers were quite alright, compared to how they have been over the past few years.

but i agree with you that CnC taking over, is generally only a very good thing for Citroën in Singapore :-)

No, you are right :) Now I have colleagues & friends coming to me to tell me about the change of dealership. Meaning that they have actually paid attention to the marque cos a "big player" is taking over.
