Hi all,
It is nice to know this forum with so many Citroen Owners.
I had juz booked my 1st conti car yesterday before I even know the existence of this forum. However, after browsing through the disccusions in this forum for the known issues and problems of the C4GP, I am starting to get a mixed feeling of my impending ride.
My current Honda Airwave had certainly served the family well and proved to be a reliable car for 5.5 years without any problems. But with the growing members in the family, we will have to search for a MPV. After visiting Peugeot, Toyota, Ford and VW, we couldn't find a ideal one with the right price, right specs, right size and not fogetting appealing look too.
We had managed to shortlist Toyota Wish and C4GP. With the current National Day promo, we had got a good deal for both cars. But after test drove the C4GP, I really love the exterior, interior and ok ok with the EGS. Most importantly, my son love the C4GP compared to Wish. So we finally sealed the deal with Citroen.
Hopefully, I have no regrets making this decision and shall await our ride soon.
Cheers

hallo zenden :-)
welcome to our community, and thank you very much for introducing yourself and being honest and candid :-)
the size of the database represented here, will likely translate to an initial trepidation and hesitancy with respect to your decision to purchase.
then, as you continue to browse and learn more about the car (even before you take delivery), that same size of the database of all the combined expertise of fellow-owners will likely result in the trepidation building towards something approaching confidence (knowing that you'll have the combined experience of the fellow-owners here to draw upon to address your areas of concern).
(sorry i wrote so cheemly - it's been a long day and my brain is tired :-P )
don't hesitate to come forward with your questions and queries, but also take your time to browse the threads.

Hi all,
Thank you for all the warmth welcome and I am happy to join this big family :)
My naughty son had chosen the colour which happens to be my choice too : Kyanos Blue
I had went through all the discussions (from engine, gear box, water leaking, floor mat, battery, software updates etc etc) and had set some expectations for myself before collecting the ride. But I really hope the car engine don't stalled while driving, up the slope or moving off from traffic light...if not it is so embarrassing :o
Yes, I noticed that despite the little glitches of this car, most of the owners here are still very happy with their ride. So I guess, it really means something. Of course, the last thing I really dont want is to check in and out of the "Citroen Hotel" haha
This forum definitely is very helpful. Thanks everyone

Lovely colour, last week went down and saw it. Make me regret choosing Hickory instead. Lol

LOL. Actually only this colour and white got available stock. And I agreed, it is actually quite a lovely colour and my son love it as well. I saw few hickory on the road, not a bad choice. Initially thinking of this colour as well. If I didnt have the chance to view the kyanos blue in the showroom, I might end up with hickory too.

They should let us see how the Picasso will looks like in different colour code on their website. Very hard for me to imagine how a Kyanos Blue Picasso looks like just from the colour code on the brochure.
