Hi All, thought I ought to share with fellow C4GP owners who may experience jerky gear change. I just got my Car about 2 mths Ago and thought the jerky gear change from 1-2 was a driving technique issue, but today my SE recommended a Software update and after the upgrade, the car is MUCH MUCH better:D:clap:. Strongly recommend All to ask Citroen for upgrade if you have the same jerky transmission problem.

i have not gotten the car yet, will depend on the result for this coming COE bidding...

I have the same concern about the jerking when i test drive the car...and it's good to know that the software upgrade can resolve this issue.

Will definitely check with my SE to make sure the software is updated....ie if my COE bidding kena...haha !!!

There is still a very slightly noticeable lag on the change but after the upgrade, I don't get the jerkyness at low revs when you release the accelerator and most importantly, can "Cheong" from stationary, and you don't get the sudden pull back at about 25kmh-30kmh. i.e. if you floor the pedal, it will hold 1st gear until you hit much higher revs. Reverse gear is also more responsive initially and power more gradual, no more sudden lurch.
