I've started buring CD-R Audio CD's from MP3s to play in the car head unit. Plays well, no problems...
Gave up thinking of how to play MP3.
Just take a bit more time and can't contain as many songs... but guess it serves my purpose. I can compile my favourite songs into a CD. :D

yes, have been doing this on mine too :-)
CD-R as audio CD.
i also sometimes plug in the iPod FM transmitter into my 12V jack in front.

sorry to drag up an old thread.. but what was the problem with playing mp3 on the HU? Does it not support mp3 format?

I have been listening to MP3 format via the CD which I burn. But sometimes its the software that you use to burn that make the difference of whether the player can read. CDRW is a definite NONO..

u be lucky to even get it to sound half decent, still thin can find ipod and aux
the reception is like shit and so is the sound

Kekek... sound just like me when I collected my car 2.5 years ago.
So, had everything by-pass the HU. 8)
