Don't know how long this gim gim shine can last man.

My SE told me not to do those paint sealant as there's already some form of sealant on my car.
Is there any other ways to preserve the shine?

I just follow conventional advice passed on by friends / internet forums:

1. If kena light rain, rinse/wipe dry.
2. If kena bird droppings, wipe away asap with wet tissue.
3. Wash it regularly - I try to do so once every 2 weeks.

Am admittedly too lazy now - last waxed my C4 by hand in May last year. Maybe time for one of those $80+ car grooming packages. :P

That centre console trimming is of the non-Pack version.
I just recently changed to the Pack version which is off a bit aluminium finishing.
I thought it's better than my former one.

I was being recommended the Iridis colour but my wife didn't want dark colours though.
the colour has tintish of purple which I felt it was very unique.

You should consider that colour; I would have chosen that if my wife didn't object. :P ;D

Heard that red is a tough colour to maintain :-[ :-\

In the photo, the trimming around the trip computer is matt black.
But I just got it changed to trimming in aluminum finishing.

The aluminum trimming comes default in SX Pack version

also, the centre console continues into the gearshift / handbrake part, and up into an armrest.

the moulding is very different from the C4 that were brought in by Advance.

not just grafted on as an extra, but different.

if i remember correctly, the central rear cupholder is lost, or something (i may be confusing it with my own C5... i only sit in my dad's car once a week). but i know something is so different that it's lost.

Mine is in Iridis. Yeah, it's a rather unique colour. Got concurrence from CFO too as she thinks it's 'soothing'. ;)
