Nintendo Wii counted? Kekeke... I used to hit the range a bit, but only casual horseplay. Never was too serious to get a handicap yet.
Now only good enough for video game golf.

Bro, in your opinion, which driving ranges in Singapore will be considered the most value for money, in terms of:
A) Facility (Changing Room / Food Stall / Water Cooler / Rain proof)
B) Balls used (Hard or Soft Balls)
C) Tee set up (Manual or Machine)
D) Accessibily (Car Park nearby / Attire requirement)
E) Availability (Open to Public / Member's only)
F) Cost (Cost per bucket of balls / Usage charges / Admin Charges)

Hi bro, so sorry to take me so long to reply you..have been quite busy recently...
A) Facility : most driving range provide basic facility such as changing room, at least some drink vending machine. Driving range are basically not 100% rain proof, even though some are consider sheltered.
B) Balls used : all balls use on the range are range ball. These balls are not suitable to play on the course because of it's lower compression rate, in general, it travel shorter than an actual golf ball. The main reason for using a lower compression ball is to prevent some strong hitter to hit over the nets. In term of value for money for ball rate, i believe the range at Bishan offers a better rate, however their ball condition is bad.
C) Tee Set up : OCC range is the only range in Singapore having the auto tee system on the ground floor. All other range are generally DIY.
D) Accessibility : Basically, all range requires you to have proper attire, however you might notice some range might not really control too much on that as compare to some range. Range that control more strictly on attire are usually those belong to some country club that offer membership, just to name a few such as Laguna, OCC, Tanah Merah etc...independent range like Tao Payoh, Bishan, Punggol, the control is not that strict. Most range should have sufficient parking lot.
E) Availability : For public - OCC, Laguna, Warrent, all independent range such as Tao Payoh, Punggol, Bishan. Members only are like Tanah Merah, SICC, Sentosa.
F) Cost : Bishan offer better ball rates, however ball condition, range condition is below average. MBGC's ball rate is good on non peak hour.
On the average, i would say be prepare to spend about $10 per range session. OCC use to have activation charge everytime you use the range, but now, OCC would just do the activiation without any charges.
Hope the above information helps. I usually range in OCC, and occasionally MBGC. If you plan to go range, give me a ring...keke

Wow! Bro, thanks for the very informative and detailed reply.
I used to range in OCC too. Punggol range seems relatively new and nearer too, maybe might try it out there. Certainly, if I go for range, I know who I will ask along. I think Bro Enzio does range too, maybe can rekindle his passion too :)
