today i went to the showroom, and was told that the C1 has arrived :-)
http://www.citroen.com/CWW/en-US/RANGE/PrivateCars/C1/default/C1_Presentation.htm
in Europe, the C1 is also marketed as the Peugeot 107 (not to be confused with the 1007), and the Toyota Aygo.
i didn't actually see the car (was told it was parked opposite, at our service centre), but apparently the 5-door version has been brought in.
engine is a Toyota 1.0 litre, gearbox is 5-speed sensodrive.

Great news! Something to compete in the "Cute" segment with the likes of the Subaru R1 & R2 & Mitsubishi i.
Hope they will bring in both the 3 doors & 5 doors.

pop by to take a look at the C1 this morning... The feeling of the door is really jap like, thin and light..... But the interior is impreesive... Price wise, i think the price is a bit on a high side for a 1L if you compare to a vios....
Overall its really a cute car... ;)

Yup. Now i at C&CF servicing my car. Writing this in the cust lounge... (beside me is a monk :D)
Anyway, there's a manual C1 parked near the service bay. Cute factor is definitely there. Dials are like those found on the Mini, & Sirion. I am beginning to think that they actually source those dials from the Sirion range! ;D
anyway, also dropped by the Volvo showroom to peek at the new C30. Very sporty indeed!

hee :-)
notti notti you trying to tempt me :-)
i dun like the C70 - design is way too derivative and dreary. C30, on the other hand, is worthy of the Volvo name :-)
actually i don't really miss the XC - it was a terrific car, no doubt, but it speaks volumes for our present cars that i really don't miss the XC :-P my attitude towards it is - it was good while it lasted, and thank you for the memories :-)

:) Learnt a couple of interesting things from you today. Liked the new C1 SensoDrive, but agree it is at a price disadvantage. Look forward to your Bilstein replacement day.
