Just passed the 3 year mark. So some things to look out for on the interior to share:
1. The central locking button is made of some sort of plastic/rubber material. I think the button is actually translucent and covered with black rubber film with the shape of a padlock cut out. My button had the black rubber film peel off, resulting in a very ugly button on the centre of the dash ... can't even see the shape of the padlock anymore >:( . Anyway, got a replacement button + labour to change, total I think is around 40-50 bucks.
2. The silver interior door grab handles are actually black, spraypainted in silver. Now mine are "mostly" silver :( . There are parts where the silver paint came off due to wear and tear, revealing the black plastic behind. Time to look for matching silver spraypaint to DIY. I think the plastic gear lever gate is also spraypainted silver.
3. Sun/Moon roof. Technically, this is not interior, but the rubber gasket/seal is stuck on using adhesive. A year or two in Singapore weather and the adhesive just comes off. What happens then is that whenever there is heavy rain, you will find water leaking into the cabin. You can feel the roof lining on top of the A-pillar getting wet. Worse, your footwell can also get flooded!
4. Handbrake thumb button is also spraypainted silver. If yours is a SensoDrive, you should be using it quite often and the silver paint will wear off within a year or two. ;D
5. There is a cardboard (yes cardboard!) flap used to hide the wires at the passenger footwell near the bonnet lever. This cardboard is held in place by a plastic plug and will sometimes fall down.
6. Being a mostly plastic interior, static can cause dust to stick onto the plastic, making it look black and dirty (just like your CRT monitor casing after some time). Luckily this can be easily cleaned off.
7. Dunno anyone experiencing this but my brake pedal squeaks everytime I use it. No amount of WD-40 can cure it. It also wobbles slightly from side to side. Will get C&C to see if they can fix it during the next service.
