hi, like to know if anyone here is driving a CNG C5 and any comments on car performance? Based on current fuel prices cng does not make any sense.

Are you getting one? Take note of new taxes on CNG.

Hi liewdan, welcome and glad to have you joining our community :)
I am sure our Capitan will be more than glad to share with you on C5
if you do give him the permission and time to do so. Maybe you may add which aspect you would like to know more of, to begin with. :)

hi liewdan,
make sure all the electrics work (including lights and windows),
test drive the car on a route you are familiar and with the radio off and with the windows up and with the aircon at a low fan speed - it should be a silent experience (fairly silent).
if your 2.0S has hydropneumatic (Hydractive), i.e., if it has an electronic parking brake instead of a pull-lever, then:
cycle the suspension and observe from outside (i.e., ask the owner to cycle - he sits in the car, you stand outside and watch) - cycle the suspension from its lowest setting, to the default ride height, to the 40 km/h setting and finally to the 10 km/h setting. the car should be in Neutral with the handbrake on. the car should be completely level on both axes (at each ride height) and the only noise should be a slight creaking from the brakes as the handbrake adjusts to compensate for the slightly rotating wheels as the car goes up and done (very slight).

hi voyager, have done the few items that you have listed down. Everything is alright. Most prob will bring the car down to cnc to get it checked once i take over. Just in case.
Thanks for your tips.
Mine is the C5 2.0 S with hydropneumatic. Its the old C5 not the new facelift but registered in 09.
