Deal done collection likely to be in mid sept. Few factors that make me choose the 308 over my initial interest of a Golf sport was:
Equipment level better than Golf
Panoramic sunroof -kids love it
Higher trade in price
Ready stock
Great discounts
Prof Salesmanship - he's really one of the best salesman I've met.

Hi White,

Congrats on your new purchase!

Agreed on the Panoramic sunroof - my kids love it too in my 307SW ...

I've a 3008, same engine and my family & I enjoy the the ride for the past 1 year.
No major issues so far, very reasonable acceleration and fuel consumption.
Enjoy your shopping

Not done yet.... Seems like the missus prefer paying ~8k more for the 5008.

Any technical problems so far bobztoise?

None so far

I think you can tell them you are comparing these 2 models and ask them to match the price.. I did

In any case, the difference between the 2 is certainly not a 8k gap despite the higher OMV of 5008 when I bought

Couple of areas that the 5008 will lose out:
Less storage space (I resolved it with after market holders from autobacs)
Less room in front row (due to cockpit setup) so can't cross from driver to passenger and vice versa

Everything else is identical if not better than C4GP and the drive of 5008 is certainly better
After 3+ months usage, if I had to choose between the 2 again, it will still be 5008

Ok I have sent it

To add, feature-wise, the C4GP does offer more than the 5008
And I think the C4GP also out-sell the 5008 in terms of number of units
I have seen the 5008 less than 5 times since I knew of this car but I see the C4GP probably every other day

For me, I can accept the above shortcomings because I really could not accept the gear box after 3 test drives; including 1 where I was rear passenger

Do re-visit both showrooms again and again before committing
