Default New C4 Cactus launching in Mar 15

Juz went down to the pod for servicing. Saw the car, tested the car.

A brief summary of the test drive and the car itself:
-Very Quiet interior
-No gear sticks! Only 3 buttons, D(drive), N(neutral) and R(reverse)
- 3 cylinders engine, so can feel car vibrates a little bit when stationery or when moving off
- Air con pretty cold at 19 degrees
- Suspension pretty good, absorbs the uneven road along the test route along Alexandra and Ganges Road
- pick up as good as C4P/GP and zippy. Good for city drive but was advised to not go beyond 100km/hr. Car may float
- paddle shift for manual override
- cruise ctrl and audio ctrl at the steering wheel
- Small boot space with a "kerb" - so got to lift up barang barang over that "kerb"
- built in Reverse camera and GPS
- Seats are tad soft, like cushions. Prefer to be firm
- Back passengers windows cannot be wind down. Only open a little sideways, like the collector's mini Cooper in the 70s/80s
- transmission hump at the rear seat, so middle passenger will not like it. Wheel base is just 5mm shorter than Altis. So rear passengers sit quite comfortably without needing to bend their knees backward
- nice side bumps protection from other car doors and scratches
- 4 air bags
- 4 reverse sensors and fog lights
- 16 inch tyres

Only 1.2 litre 80bhp petrol version in our shores. SE said launching in Mar 15. LTA approved.

Cheers

Hi,

it should be 6 airbags right? In the european markets even the most basic ones come with 6 airbags.

2 different SE told me different things abt airbags. 6 and 4
So not 100% sure. But the SE who accompanied me for test drive corrected me that it has 4 when I said 6. So he seemed to know the car better.
The pre launch price quoted is $109k, guaranteed 6 bids

Just thought I should post, it's confirmed that the C4 cactus has 6 airbags: 2 front + 2 front-side + 2 side curtain.

Which colour did you get? There seems to be only one drive train and interior trim available.

Their signature colour: "hello yellow". The ideal drivetrain would be the PureTech turbo with the EAT6 transmission, just like in the peugeot 308. But I guess that would add weight to the car, which would go against the design principle of the cactus.
