Hehe...thanks. Found out that this was the original colours of Citroen and thot that it looks cool

In the true spirit of a teacher, encouraging the student to explore beyond their original thought. I didn't know the origin of the logo until prompted by your question (and the resultant discussion that followed) to look it up. Gear teeth!

i think the double helical gears are still used in gearboxes (manual), although i may be wrong as i am no engineer :-)

CitroŽn was actually his name :-)

'citron' means 'lemon'.

the umlaut (two dots) over the 'e' actually means that properly speaking, the name is three syllables (sit-tro-yen) rather than what the UK and Singaporeans pronounce as two.

as for Tintin, he has a super long association with charismatic cars.

just google 'the cars of Tintin'.

Hergť and CitroŽn have an even stronger association.

several past CitroŽn brochures used artwork from Hergť.
