Default Hydractive suspension

Hi All,

I just bought a 2009 C5 Confort 2.0l. From what I understand only the Exclusive version has hydractive suspension but my car has that 3 buttons for Sport and raising/lowering the suspension. I can also see 2 balls in the bonnet above the suspension mounts.

So the question is does the Confort version have Hydractive suspension as well?

Your description fits well with the hydraactive. Why don't you press those buttons to see if the car lifts up or goes down? That's a sure way to tell

hello Leisure,

if your car has a Sport button, it has the full Hydractive.

you can also check to look under your car (by kneeling on the ground) from behind, to look at your rear axle.

there will be two central balls along the car's main longitudinal axis, near the rear.

(if i remember correctly (i am a bit rusty))

Just an update, I have tried the buttons and the car does rise up or down.

So, confirm that the Confort model has Hydractive suspension!

Hello,

Go try this. Open your car boot and get 2 of your most plump friend to seat on the edge of the open car boot. The rear of the car naturally sink down due to the weight, but within a few second, your car will magically raise back to the original height.

It is fun. Go try it

You can raise the car up before changing tyres (to the amazement of the tyre shop boys and the other customers)
