Default Brake pads replacement in C5 Tourer 2008<

Hi,

I recently bought a C5 Tourer mk3 [April 2008 - after lifting] and I have to replace brake pads.
The mechanic I always trust with my cars told me, that if it has an electronic hand brake it might need some special treatment as do Volkswagens and Audis.
It will be his first C5 to service and I'm wondering if it really is true that he will need to do something special about replacing those pads or is it a normal procedure as with other "normal" cars?

Thanks for info
Krystian

See the above thread , there is a need for a tool to depress and rotate the auto adjustment piston for the brake pad. only for the handbrakes pair ( front ones if I remember correctly ). without the tool is possible, just a hassle for the mechanic to press and turn it in manually.
