When I found a plastic bolt cover in the wiper recess of my Merc after servicing, I wrote to Diamler in Germany. CnC responded very promptly. I will certainly try writing to Citroen France if I get any quality lapse from CnC.

Prompt follow up from Tey today after I wrote in. The bolt is used to secure the air intake pipe to the support bracket. They must have missed it when checking the compressor during the last service. Thumbs down to the technical staff.

On this topic of C&C service centre quality, I'm just wondering do we know that parts are really changed and correct fluids are used?

a) I recently sent my other c3 in for servicing, and the fuel filter is supposed to be renewed as stated on the receipt. But when I got home, I bent down to take a look at the fuel filter, and although I can't be 100% sure, it looked very worn on the outside and not like a new canister. Hmmm....

b) when my ds5 had to be towed back, I requested to do a basic oil and oil filter change which I paid for separately. Our euro V hdi engines need a low SAPS oil, and the receipt stated indeed that Shell Helix AP-L oil was used.....but what if the mechanic poured in the wrong oil?? Also, they charged me separately for the oil drain gasket (ok lah, it's only $2, but still.....), but I realised that the oil filter for the 1.6 e-hdi engines (part number 1109AY) comes standard with a new drain plug gasket in the box!

So this makes me very suspicious that what's printed in the receipt doesn't tally with what actually goes on.

Hi, recently brought a 2011 model C4 Grand. Still under warranty. Any kind souls can advise whether the Pre Warranty Checks at CnC is worth a go? Thanks
