Default Citroen Key Remote replacement

Hi All,

Anyone replaced the key remote before? My spare just went in-active enough though I changed the batt. Looking to make a new one.

If I am not wrong,
1) the remote need to be programmed to be accepted on the car itself as well.
2) The immobilizer chip can be transferred to new remote.
3) The key itself can be reused.

C&C can do it for you. But not cheap. A few hundred

Thanks Guys for the reply.

Remembered I asked before in C&C when I collect my new car back then. The replacement price is $400.

Went to Soxxi Master in Kaki Bukit. They asked me a tag which attached to my keys when C&C passed me my car. There tag will provide remote frequency key code. Don't recall or probably I threw it away liao.

So they have to spend 30mins to scan all key codes to identify mine. That replacement cost of my spare key is $120. I also replaced my main key at $70 because my current buttons are bloating.
