Noticeably that the touch response now faster and volume bar have gradient colour instead of flat red.
Below is step-by-step guide on how to do, but do it at your own risk.

1. Get the file from the link above
2. Unzip it to a FAT32 formatted USB Drive
3. Start the car and keep it parked with engine running until update completed
4. Wait 30s until System has finished to start (Citroen logo displayed at startup then normal display on screen after 30s)
5. Ensure that no other USB stick connected to both USB input
6. Connect the USB stick with preloaded new firmware and wait until update request appear and choose "YES" and the update will start (steps processing on blue screen)
7. The update is complete when system has restarted with normal display (approx. about 15-20mins)

below is the screenshot of the process:

How do you display the system information? Which button do you press?
I can't seem to see this on my screen.

Sorry. What is the 'Gear' icon? How does it look like? My top right panel shows "air con" icon instead.
My ride is GC4P 2014 model.

mine took 25 mins from ignition on, to ignition off :-)

for Mac users, i used Disk Utility to format the thumb drive (but to be safe i copied over the files in Windows 10 under emulation).

for the thumb drive, i used a 4GB disk (that i bought from Paris).

At first I tried to format using my Mac (FAT32) but didn't really pay attention on GUID setting.
At the end, USB drive can't be read by the car and only recognized as 200MB drive in Windows, so have to reformat again in Windows

Next thing to find out is, on how to activate TMC in Singapore.
According to foreign forum, this can be done via Lexia by changing the country setting
Anyone got TMC already active in Singapore?

Summarized from www.gpspower.net:

Newer version of firmware has been released SMEG+ 5.4.B.R8 dated 1-Dec-2015 and should be compatible for the following Citroen/Peugeot models:
• B7 : C4
• B78: C4 Picasso, Grand Picasso
• T9 : 308
• E3 : C4 Cactus
• W2: 508 II

https://mega.nz/#!61tkWY5Y!O0Oup_54F...xR-02JAM8eMiP4

According to other forum, this is a service release to address the issue when SMEG+ is muted before making a phone call, the sound is unmuted after the call is finished.
It introduces a new installation phase where the User Guide is also updated.

The update runs through six phases as opposed to five phases for earlier releases.

Time consumption: about 13 minutes.
