Your Cactus should be running on belt, as per this website http://www.citroenet.org.uk/miscella.../puretech.html. If so, I don't recommend that you go to your workshop cos obviously they don't know CitroŽn well.

To be sure, I drove down and pop the hood for them to take a look. They say is running on chain not belt. I cant be sure myself, but as you seniors here say is belt and so does CnC, I believe is belt..unless my cactus had a different engine..haha

Both recommended workshops tell me they nv change 1.2puretech engine timing belt b4 yet as the engine is still new...and 70k is too early to change the belt... if so, I just go for the normal servicing

You found a honest workshop but they obviously does not have real experience doing work on this car. So you have to decide whether you like to let them experiment on your car.

Cheers

Yup. They normally change abt 80k. Puretech is pretty "new" to the independent workshops and they are not yet familiar. And glad they are upfront abt it

Yup. They are honest in that they have no experience. This is something worth commending.
