Hi all,
My Home Affairs Minister and I are planning on changing to a GP after CNY. I think the specs and features on SG car mart isn't updated. Can you please share what the current ride comes with apart from being a turbo charged engine? Currently riding a DS4 but need the extra space. Cheers! ![]() |

hello DS4,
i looked at the specs and feature-list on sgcarmart and both seem more or less reflective of what the car comes with - is there a specific area you are not sure about? the gearbox will be the same as yours, so you should be able to adapt quickly. you would also need to know that there will be an all-new seven-seat model coming out in Europe around October, which means that in approximately one year's time, it will reach our shores. i share this with you, so that you will be buying with your eyes fully open :-)

Thanks Ken. Just wanted to know if the reverse sensors are similar to the DS4, does it come with electric foldable side mirrors, sports rims, sound system, type of display unit etc. The usual questions/comparisons I guess. Don't think I could wait till 2014 for the new 7 seater to be honest.
![]() Wonder if the second row aircon is effective/strong? thanks. |

the reverse sensors are not the same - they are not integrated into the car (visual display, as you have) and are third-party sensors installed in Singapore.
they also number two, not six. you will lose your Blind Spot monitoring, as such. the side mirrors do not fold. there have been some threads about the air con, specifically in terms of a left/right differential (please try to use the forum's built in search engine :-) )

Hi all, it was discussed sometime back that different batches had different specifications. Mine(earlier) was non foldable. I also cannot change the color of my screen. However, i was told my sensors were factory. Not sure whats the diff but the proximity audio note would be directional and the audio would fade out.
My colleagues later version had tilting and folding mirrors. New batches also do away witg the built in air freshne Rear aircon is ok but kinda loud at full blast. Some had issues with the left sidr second row aircons |

Thank you all for your comments. I guess I'll have to sacrifise some of the goodies on the DS in comparison to the GP but will gain some stuffs from the GP thats not on the DS. What a trade-off. Can't have the best of both worlds.

I'm looking at first hand. I'll be at the POD tomorrow to have a detail look at it then after new year my Home Minister will come in also to view with me.
I would love to keep my DS but need the extra space with the in-laws etc.. No other MPV comes close to the GP. That goes without saying. ![]() |

We think it's a great utility vehicle and it packs a reasonable punch for it's class.
