Default Does the C4GP come with a factory fitted turbo timer?

I was new to turbo car so I was consulting my cousin who is more into cars. He asked if the C4GP 1.6 turbo comes with factory fitted turbo timer? Here is his explanation.

"The thing about turbo engine is it emits a lot of heat. The heat radiated to the bonnet can simply cook an egg. Therefore it is not advisable to switch off the engine immediately after arriving at your destination. The turbo bearings are still spinning. So need to wait for about 1-2min to let the bearings to stop before turning off the engine and leave the car. If not, the engine will have problem later on. The turbo timer is thus to off the engine automatically after you have left the car with the key so that you do not need to always wait in the car for 1-2min before switching off the engine."

Does this make sense? Any advise from the seniors here?

thanks, voyager for pointing me to the right discussion thread.

I've posted my comments there already... just to re-iterate here that I am wondering why an internal turbo timer is not bundled (or build-in) into the engine in the first place if a turbo engine required some idling time before a complete shut down.

My engine is still on after I park and off it. Can hear the sound. Is that the turbo timer working?

radiator fan / cooling system will remain on to cool the systems down.
simillar concept to the turbo timer but saves fuel coz only the electrical system is on.

I read somewhere before that most turbo charged cars do not require turbo timer under normal use because we will need to slow down to enter car parks, drive slowly around looking for a parking space, reverse into tight spots, etc. All these is enough for the turbo charger to cool down already.
