Default C4 Grand Picasso 2018

I am consider getting the current latest C4. Any bros or sisters have this ride can share your experiences?

1) Fuel consumption
2) Any ride issues like electronic equipment or mechanical?

I believe the current C4 version is totally new from past version in terms of engine?

Hope to hear some inputs.

Thanks.

I presume you are looking at a second hand unit? The brand new ones in CnC right now are C4 Cactus and C3 Aircross. Do you mean the Cactus? If yes, then the engine is a turbocharged 1.2L petrol with a proven and reliable gearbox. Diff from the previous Cactus in the sense that the previous Cactus wasn't turbo and the gearbox was automated manual.

Just in case you were referring to the C4 hatchback (second hand), the engine is different than the first gen one.

hello SkyC4,

i think yolo means this year's cohort of Grand C4 Picasso with the 1.2 turbo engine and six-speed fully auto.

yolo,

SkyC4's post says the gearbox has been used with CitroŽns since about 2013.

the engine is new, though, so we do not have much experience to report.

it was just homologated locally late last year / early this year.

welcome to our community, yolo :-) :-)

Hello. I think the new 1.2L engine is the same one they drop into the C4 hatch which the C4 Hatch model is discontinued due to reasons unknown to me.

If it the same engine then it is not bad base on my experience on C4 hatch. Then again hatch should be a much light car.

I am considering getting the C4 ST as well, currently they will refresh from a 6 speed to a 8 speed auto gear.
