Stunning black specimen. When I first spotted it from afar from the back going past Tekka mall yesterday afternoon around 3.40pm, nearly thought it was a C4, albeit an unusually large one. :\
Only when I caught up at the traffic lights in front of Raffles Hospital did I realise it was a C6. Chinese driver, new SJ* number plate. Cool. |

![]() So did you remember the full car number? I guess this car is rare enough to catch it on Singapore roads, can go and buy 4D liao. ![]() |

I vaguely remember seeing one parked at Sunset Way some time ago... might be wrong.

Haha, afraid I did not activate 4D number retention function in my brain at that instant.
Come to think of it, it usually kicks in automatically, but strangely, not then. ;D |

i spotted a black one along Upp Circular Rd, and a metallic blue one turning into Sunset Avenue off Clementi Rd.
What took me by surprise is how compact - even smallish - it appeared! As compared to my impression of the vast sprawling CX (especially the Prestige long wheel base) or even the DS! As somebody else on this forum commented, it looked like a slightly enlarged C4! I say, the C6 is no longer a large car - its about the same size as the 70s Ford Cortina. I guess everything shrinks in this day & age - even the current ''new'' Merc S280 looks shrunken as compared to the early-1990s model (W140). Sayang lah, the C6 cannot - in my humble opinion - be said to be in the limo / state-coach / large car category. It needs to be 20% larger for that. Lets see if they intro a long-wheel-based version ...... |

hi npenbloc :-)
actually the CX and XM (not the CX Prestige, but the CX Pallas etc) are shorter than the new C5 and the outgoing post-facelift C5. the DS was 4839 mm long. the CX Prestige was 4907 mm long. the C6 is 4908 mm long :-) the 1971 Cortina was 4267 mm long. the C4 is 4260 mm long.
