nothing much needed to take note for short trips, more forgiving
only need take note of

1) brakes and tyres are in good condition, tyres inflated to 0.1 bar above stock recommended pressure for NSH high speed
2) have GPS will be good, especially inside the town itself where there is potential to be broken up due to traffic
3) walkie talkie is a good optional item, else will be failling back to mobile phones
4) max speed of 140-150, typical cruising speed 120-130
5) for small cars like c4 size and below, easy to navigate in malacca, for larger mpv will be a little bit tricky around the smaller lanes as there will be cars on both sides, just sufficient clearance (maybe 30cm each side)

too early to say if its a go/no go for now
hopefully we can confirm by this wkend so we can plan the finer details out

anyone staying over?
will be either equatorial / holiday inn , or go for the more rustic local ones (cheaper but more out of the way0
