Nextreal,

Hard to believe? They will roll downwards to the last service mileage if the car is pretty young, or they roll upwards.

Then the cars I have sold myself are within the 5%? And I must be lucky because all the preowned cars I bought weren't tampered with.

I find little impetus to roll the odometer especially for cars under 5 years old. What's there to hide if I clock the avg 20,000km a year? If you say 20%, I would have found it more palatable. But 95%? Come on...

I suppose there are some 4/5 year olds with 150,000 km or more pretending to be 80,000 km. Ah, must buy from you next time, Colin. Missed out on dtech's C4 earlier.

150k vs 80k is VERY obvious
the interior wear and tear especially on driver seat and steering wheel

Precisely poor maintenance led to roll odo to cover up.

the rate cars these days, dealers dont bother to tweak, good ones move faster, the crap ones just there to make the numbers till someone with no choices/less budget picks them up, but they move eventually in a few months or so

How did the tyres go bald after only 8006km?
